Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery | Principal Investigator
Onelio Garcia Jr., MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with more than three decades of clinical, surgical, academic, and research experience. His expertise encompasses aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with particular emphasis on breast reconstruction and advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Garcia has extensive experience in areas relevant to clinical research, including implant-based breast reconstruction, acellular dermal matrices, surgical scaffolds, tissue integration and oxygenation, body contouring, ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty, and medical device-related investigations.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Garcia has maintained a longstanding commitment to academic medicine and surgical education, including service as a Voluntary Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Garcia serves as a Principal Investigator at Dynamic Medical Research LLC and participates in the Research Management Partners (RMP) Physician and Investigator Network, contributing his extensive surgical expertise to clinical research involving reconstructive surgery, medical devices, biomaterials, and innovative surgical technologies.
